Partizan’s Isiaha Mike Likely to Miss EuroLeague Opener Against Baskonia

Forward Set Miss Round One Due to Injury

Expected to be sidelined for the first EuroLeague game of the season against Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz on Thursday is Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade’s striker Isiaha Mike. Mike has not completely healed from a calf injury he suffered during Partizan’s first practice session of the season on August 22, claims Bojan Brezovac of Mozzart Sport.

Originally ruled out for four weeks, Mike is currently following a specific training schedule and has not yet returned to full 5-on-5 sessions. Partisan are wary about his comeback, trying to prevent any chance of re-injury.

After a great two-year stay with JL Bourg in France, the 27-year-old Canadian joined Partizan over the summer. He was called to the All-EuroCup First Team last season and was instrumental in enabling his club to qualify for the EuroCup final.
