Several standout fixtures to enjoy this weekend, including Manchester United vs Chelsea
Monday night welcomes Fulham vs Brentford in London derby.
Gameweek 10 is upon us in the 2024/25 Premier League season with a number of critical games on the calendar.
Some have suggested that the final Premier League table rarely looks all that different from how it shapes up after ten games, so the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United will be keen to secure big home wins in a bid to move up the table. It’s also about time Gary O’Neil’s Wolverhampton Wanderers move up the table, having escaped a mightily tough start to the season battered, bruised, and second bottom.
There are several standout fixtures to enjoy up-and-down the country with the weekend culminating with a London derby on Monday Night Football.
Here’s how 90min projects Gameweek 10 to pan out in the Premier League.

We kick-off with a potentially belting affair on Saturday lunchtime as Arsenal make the long trip up north to Tyneside and face Newcastle at St. James’ Park. This fixture was drenched in controversy last season as Anthony Gordon struck the game’s only goal, and the Magpies are in need of a similar result here given their recent Premier League woes.
Title hopefuls Arsenal, meanwhile, are already five points adrift of league leaders Manchester City and can ill-afford to create too big of a buffer between themselves and the perennial champions.
City, though, have a tricky assignment this weekend as they visit a Bournemouth side that have taken points off the Gunners and Aston Villa in the previous two outings. Pep Guardiola’s side are also ravaged by injuries heading into this fixture, but they’ve never lost to the Cherries in 21 meetings.
Liverpool overcame Brighton at the Amex in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday and the two teams will battle again on Saturday with Anfield playing host on this occasion. Fabian Hurzeler’s fearless Seagulls have won at Newcastle and drawn at the Emirates this season, and the Reds, despite their excellent start to the season under Arne Slot, have proven to be fallible on home soil.Nottingham Forest inflicted a rare defeat upon Liverpool in Merseyside, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have since proved that triumph to be no fluke. They currently sit seventh in the table and will be fancied against West Ham at the City Ground.
Gameweek 10 also consists of several crucial fixtures at the bottom of the table, with two newly promoted sides Ipswich Town and Leicester facing off at Portman Road. Southampton need points at home to Everton, who have an excellent record against the bottom five under Sean Dyche.
The day’s action concludes at Molineux where 19th-placed Wolves host a Crystal Palace side on the up again following successive victories over Tottenham and Aston Villa. Palace’s win last weekend was their first in the Premier League this season, but they’ll likely be without Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton for their trip to the West Midlands.

Sundays are rarely ‘super’ in the Premier League anymore, but this is far from a bad set of fixtures.
First up, Jekyll and Hyde Tottenham welcome Aston Villa to north London, aiming to close the gap on the current fourth-place incumbents. Spurs were dire last weekend at Palace but excellent in midweek as they knocked City out of the Carabao Cup.You just don’t know which side of the Lilywhites we’ll see this weekend.
The action then heads to Old Trafford where Ruud van Nistelrooy takes charge of his first Premier League game as United’s interim boss. His debut went pretty well on Wednesday, but Chelsea will pose a much tougher test than Leicester’s reserves.
With Ruben Amorim’s arrival confirmed for the November break, the Theatre of Dreams will be raucous under the lights and we should be treated to a thrilling encounter.

The Fulham/Brentford rivalry is hardly vicious, but their proximity from a geographical and competitiveness standpoint is close.
Fulham are tenth in the table and just a single point behind the Bees in ninth. The Cottagers were denied three points by Beto late on at Everton last weekend, while Brentford bounced back from defeat at Old Trafford with a 4-3 win over Ipswich.

A hotly-contested affair in west London is bound to bring Gameweek 10 to a close, although Thomas Frank’s side were 3-0 victors in this fixture at the start of last season.

Kick-off Time (GMT)FixturePrediction
20:00Fulham vs Brentford1-0
