PSG Refuse to Pay Kylian Mbappe €55M in Unpaid Wages

Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe are still embroiled in a legal battle over the French league’s appeals commission’s decision to withhold €55 million in back payments. PSG maintains that they do not owe the former star this sum, even in light of the recent verdict against them, and they want to take the case to court.

The appeals commission’s finding on Friday, which PSG has called “incomprehensible,” confirmed that PSG is responsible for the outstanding amount. As the case continues to drag on, the club has maintained that they owe Mbappe no further money, which has caused irritation.

Amid the court case, PSG hopes for a peaceful resolution

A PSG representative told RMC Sport that although the team intends to pursue legal action, they are still willing to work with Mbappe to find a solution. The spokesperson left the door open for a friendly resolution to the ongoing conflict by saying, “PSG has decided to take the case to the appropriate courts now that the appeals committee has confirmed the opinion of the legal committee.”
