Benfica Targets Ismail Yuksek After Orkun and Kerem

Following the signings of Orkun Kokcu and Kerem Akturkoglu at the start of this season, Portuguese club Benfica is now interested in Fenerbahce’s star player as well. According to a report from Correiro da Manha, Benfica has started working on the transfer of Ismail Yuksek in the January window.

After strengthening their squad with Galatasaray’s Kerem Akturkoglu and already having Orkun Kokcu in their ranks, Benfica is reportedly now focused on Ismail Yuksek. The Portuguese media suggests that Benfica, planning to strengthen their midfield during the winter transfer period, is targeting the Fenerbahce player.

BENFICA LACKS A PLAYER LIKE ISMAIL

The report emphasizes that Benfica lacks another player with the qualities of Florentino Luis in their midfield, and coach Bruno Lage wants to fill this gap with the Turkish international. It is stated that Benfica could offer up to 10 million euros for Ismail Yuksek, whose market value is currently 14 million euros and whose contract with Fenerbahce runs until June 2027. The 25-year-old midfielder has made 91 appearances for Fenerbahce, contributing 2 goals and 7 assists.
