Christian Pulisic did “Donald Trump Dance”

Christian Pulisic has clarified that his “Donald Trump Dance” goal celebration during the USMNT’s 4-2 victory over Jamaica in the CONCACAF Nations League was not intended as a political statement. The American forward scored twice to help his team secure a spot in the semifinals and celebrated his first goal with the now-viral dance move.

Speaking about the celebration, Pulisic explained:

“It wasn’t a political dance. It was just for fun. I’ve seen it go viral recently, and it’s something a few athletes have done, like Brock Bowers in the NFL and Jon Jones in UFC. I thought it would be a lighthearted way to celebrate.”
