Conor Gallagher Shares Special Moment with Chelsea Academy Stars After Atletico Madrid’s Champions League Victory

Conor Gallagher’s loyalty to Chelsea remains strong, even while on loan at Atletico Madrid, as he shared a special moment with Chelsea academy players in Madrid after helping Atletico to a Champions League win over RB Leipzig.

The Chelsea youngsters, in town for the Madrid Football Cup, stopped by to watch Gallagher in action during the European clash and were rewarded with a photo opportunity with the Cobham graduate. Gallagher, who played a key role in Atletico’s victory, took to Instagram to express his gratitude.

“Great to see some of the academy boys in Madrid,” Gallagher wrote. “Appreciate you coming to watch me and the team last night. Good luck in the tournament.”

The Chelsea academy stars will now be focusing on their own competition, taking on Europe’s best academies in the Madrid Football Cup.
