Cristiano Ronaldo Wants Zinedine Zidane to Replace Luis Castro as Al-Nassr Manager

It has been revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo desires Zinedine Zidane to take over as Al-Nassr’s manager, given the uncertain future of current coach Luis Castro.

Ronaldo Wants Zidane at Al-Nassr

  • The club may part ways with Luis Castro
  • Al-Nassr won against Al-Feiha on Tuesday

WHAT HAPPENED?

After losing the Saudi Pro League title to Al-Hilal by a 14-point margin last season, Al-Nassr was expected to turn things around and end Jorge Jesus’ team’s dominance. However, the 2024-25 season began with a heavy 4-1 defeat in the Saudi Super Cup final against last season’s league champions.

According to Marca, Al-Nassr is not satisfied with the performance of Portuguese coach Luis Castro and is determined to compete for every trophy. Ronaldo, who holds significant influence within the club, is reported to have suggested reuniting with his former Real Madrid boss, Zinedine Zidane, in Saudi Arabia.
