Daniele Santarelli’s Fenerbahçe Concern: ‘If Arina Fedorovtseva Returns…’

Imoco Volley Conegliano Head Coach Daniele Santarelli has made striking comments about his upcoming rivals Eczacıbaşı, VakıfBank, and Fenerbahçe in the CEV Champions League. After leading the Turkish Women’s National Volleyball Team to a 4th place finish at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Santarelli has shifted his focus to preparing Imoco Volley Conegliano for the new season. In an interview with IL Gazettino, Santarelli highlighted the strength of his competitors.

Regarding Fenerbahçe, Santarelli expressed concern over the potential return of Arina Fedorovtseva: “Milano has four Olympic champions in their starting six. Scandicci is strong. Novara will cause problems for everyone. Eczacıbaşı features our former player Plummer in the starting six. VakıfBank is always a deadly team. We must not forget Fenerbahçe because if Arina Fedorovtseva returns, they could become a team full of stars.”
