Galatasaray’s star striker Mauro Icardi recently fueled transfer rumors when he traveled to Argentina during the international break and visited River Plate’s facilities. The visit sparked speculation in Argentina, leading many to wonder if the 31-year-old forward could be heading to River Plate in the upcoming January transfer window.

Instead, the striker was there to support his wife Wanda Nara, whose son Valentino Lopez plays in River Plate’s youth academy.
The report further highlighted that Icardi has a contract with Galatasaray until 2026, and the club has no intention of letting their star player leave any time soon.
