Gizem Orge: “I felt like I was playing in a national team match!”

After Fenerbahce Medicana’s 3-0 victory over Galatasaray Daikin in the 6th week of the Sultanlar Ligi, Gizem Orge shared her thoughts.

Highlighting the atmosphere in the stands due to Republic Day, Gizem said, “Today, I really felt like I was about to play in a national team match. It’s the 101st anniversary of our Republic, our amazing fans, and the equality and freedom that the Republic brings us. As an athlete who wears the national team jersey, I played with great enjoyment today.”

She also mentioned that she spoke with Eda Erdem Dundar about the atmosphere, saying, “I even told Eda that it felt like I was playing in a national team match. There were not only Fenerbahce flags but also the Turkish flag. I hope we have many more years like this.”
