Besiktas has received positive updates from their injured goalkeepers Mert Gunok and Ersin Destanoglu. Both of the team’s key goalkeepers had been sidelined due to injuries, but now good news has come for the black and white club as the international break nears its end.
MERT GUNOK RETURNS
Mert Gunok, who missed the Eintracht Frankfurt and Gaziantep FK matches due to a shoulder injury, is set to make his return. According to reports from TRT Spor, the 35-year-old goalkeeper is expected to be back in goal for the Konyaspor match after the international break.
ERSIN ALSO RECOVERED
It has also been shared that Ersin Destanoglu, who was injured just before the Gaziantep FK match, will be included in the squad upon the team’s return. The young goalkeeper is expected to be ready for the upcoming Super Lig clash between Besiktas and Konyaspor.

This season, Mert Gunok has played a total of 11 matches, conceding 13 goals but managing to keep a clean sheet in 4 of those matches.
Ersin Destanoglu has only appeared in the match where his team hosted Eintracht Frankfurt, during which he conceded 3 goals.
