Ian Holloway Blames Haunted Training Ground for Swindon Town’s Poor Form

Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway has suggested that his team’s recent struggles might be due to their training ground being haunted, adding a supernatural twist to the club’s troubles.

After Swindon captain Ollie Clarke suffered an ankle injury at the club’s training facility in Beversbrook, Wiltshire, Holloway revealed concerns about “strange things happening” at the site. The 61-year-old noted that the training ground’s proximity to an ancient burial site might be bringing bad luck to the team.

Plans for a Cleansing Ritual

Holloway shared his unique plan to address the issue, enlisting his wife to help cleanse the area. He told BBC Radio Wiltshire:

“I’m absolutely devastated, so I’m going to try and cleanse the training ground area because people are telling me it’s haunted. There’s a graveyard somewhere nearby. Honestly, I’m not joking. I think our training ground is very close to an ancient burial site, so I’m going to get my wife to come up and say sorry to all these people and hopefully we’ll have a bit more luck.”
