Jose Mourinho’s Surprising Words About Osimhen and Fenerbahçe’s Ambitions

Fenerbahçe manager Jose Mourinho shared some striking comments about Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen, as well as the state of his own team and the competitive landscape in Turkey after the national match break.

Mourinho, who revealed that he had been offered the England national team job twice but declined, spoke candidly about his decision to join Fenerbahçe. “I don’t think I chose Fenerbahçe; Fenerbahçe chose me,” he admitted. “I was waiting patiently, analyzing offers, and meeting with different club presidents. I wasn’t in a rush to make a decision that would truly motivate me.”

He went on to explain how the eagerness of Fenerbahçe’s leadership made him feel wanted: “All three presidential candidates met with me. This made me realize how much the club wanted me. I also understood the ambition of the club during a challenging period, and I want to be part of its dreams.”

About Osimhen

“A great player. Galatasaray have definitely bought a great player. I didn’t have a problem with him, but every time I play against him I don’t like the way he behaves. He throws himself on the ground a lot. That’s my problem with him.” he said.
