The former player, who transferred from Union Berlin to Fenerbahce during the 2023/2024 winter transfer period, concluded both his time with the yellow-blues and his football career at the end of the season.

According to Calciomercato, the 37-year-old former player will serve as an assistant to head coach Bernardo Corardi for the Italy U-20 National Football Team. The report also mentioned that the retired footballer has been attending coaching courses for some time.
