Man Utd Eye January Transfers to Strengthen Amorim’s Squad
With the arrival of new manager Ruben Amorim, Manchester United is getting ready to bolster their roster during the January transfer window. To increase its possibilities, the team is concentrating on acquiring a striker and a central midfielder. Sky Sports Germany claims that United has identified Leon Goretzka of Bayern Munich as a possible target. Even though the 29-year-old hasn’t started a game under manager Vincent Kompany this season, it may be challenging to sign him because he is unlikely to depart in the middle of the season. Goretzka hasn’t showed much interest in leaving, despite Bayern’s summertime attempt to transfer him.
Possible Options for the Future
In order to complement their present attackers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee, United is also looking for an inexpensive forward. Furthermore, there are hints that the team may consider Viktor Gyokeres of Sporting CP in the summer. Amorim had already hinted that the Sweden international would be available at the conclusion of the season after he recently excelled with a hat-trick against Manchester City.
