Real Madrid Begins Champions League with a Win Over Stuttgart

In the UEFA Champions League, reigning champions Real Madrid defeated Stuttgart 3-1 at Santiago Bernabeu with goals from Kylian Mbappe, Antonio Rüdiger, and Endrick. Real Madrid, starting the Champions League campaign with a victory, had Arda Güler enter the game in the second half against Stuttgart.

The match between Real Madrid and Stuttgart was officiated by Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler. After a goalless first 45 minutes, the goals came in the second half. Shortly after the second half began, Real Madrid took the lead with a goal from Kylian Mbappe assisted by Rodrygo. In the 68th minute, Stuttgart equalized with a goal from Deniz Undav.

Entering the final minutes with a 1-1 tie, Antonio Rüdiger put Real Madrid ahead again in the 83rd minute with a header from a corner kick. Substitute Endrick sealed the victory with a goal in the 90+5th minute, making it 3-1.

FIRST CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GOALS FOR MBAPPE AND ENDRICK

Kylian Mbappe and Endrick scored their first Champions League goals for Real Madrid in the match against Stuttgart. Mbappe, who also scored in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta, has now scored three goals in La Liga. Endrick has reached two goals this season.

For Real Madrid, Turkish international Arda Güler came on in the second half. In the 75th minute, the national player replaced Rodrygo.
