RED BULL: “FERRARI IS UNREACHABLE”

Red Bull, the season started strong with 7 wins in the first 10 races but has not won since the Spanish Grand Prix. McLaren has taken advantage of the recent performance decline of the RB20, positioning themselves at the top of the constructors’ championship. Ferrari took second place in the constructors’ standings after the Mexico Grand Prix held last weekend, causing Red Bull to drop another position in the championship.

Sergio Perez’s inability to keep pace with Max Verstappen, along with McLaren and Ferrari drivers winning the last six races, is reducing Red Bull’s chances of competing in the championship.

Evaluating the situation, Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko believes that the 2024 constructors’ championship has slipped out of Red Bull’s reach. Marko stated, “We have lost the constructors’ championship.” He added, “Ferrari, with their current form, is in a position that we cannot reach, and they may even catch up to McLaren.”
