Referees Announced
The referees for the European matches of our representatives Besiktas, Fenerbahce, and Basaksehir have been announced.
Fenerbahce’s Match Against Manchester United
Fenerbahce will face English team Manchester United at home in the third week of the UEFA Europa League. The match, scheduled for October 24, Thursday, at 22:00, will be officiated by French referee Clement Turpin. He will be assisted by Nicolas Danos and Benjamin Pages, with Jeremy Stinat serving as the fourth official. In the VAR room, Jerome Brisard will oversee the match, while Jeremie Pignard will be the assistant VAR.
Besiktas’s Match Against Olympique Lyon
In the third week of the UEFA Europa League, Besiktas will play against French team Olympique Lyon away from home. This match will also take place on October 24, Thursday, at 22:00, with German referee Harm Osmers in charge. His assistants will be Dominik Schaal and Stefan Lupp, while Florian Exner will serve as the fourth official. For the match between Olympique Lyon and Besiktas, the VAR official will be Christian Dingert, with English referee Peter Bankes as the assistant VAR.
Basaksehir’s Match Against NK Celje
In the second week of the UEFA Conference League, Istanbul Basaksehir will face Slovenian team NK Celje away. The match is set for October 24, Thursday, at 19:45 local time at the Z’dezele Stadium in Celje. Ukrainian referee Oleksiy Derevinskyi will officiate this match, with assistants Viktor Matyash and Viktor Nyzhnyk. Denys Shurman will serve as the fourth official.
