Caykur Rizespor’s head coach İlhan Palut stated that they aim to achieve a positive result in their match against Bodrum FK. Palut said, “We will prepare well for the Bodrum FK match and go there to play our game in order to achieve a good result.”
In the 9th week of the Trendyol Super Lig, Caykur Rizespor will visit Sipay Bodrum FK on October 21. Coach İlhan Palut expressed his desire to return from this away match with a victory.
During a press conference held at the Mehmet Cengiz Facilities, Palut mentioned that they are continuing their preparations for the Bodrum FK match.
He noted that they have six players in national teams, and regarding other players, he said, “In addition, Rachid Ghezzal, Casper Hojer, and Benhur Keser are continuing their individual training. Besides that, we are working intensively as a team.”
“WE BREATHE WITH THE ANTALYASPOR MATCH”
Palut pointed out that Bodrum FK has made a good start to the league, commenting, “We will play against a willing, excited, and knowledgeable opponent who is supported by good results away from home. Every match in the Süper Lig is really tough. The Bodrum FK match is one of them. We have already faced many unwanted results at the beginning of the league. We took a breath with the Antalyaspor match. We want to reverse the negative image with a momentum we can build. We will prepare well for the Bodrum FK match and go there to play our game for a good result. We will monitor the recovery of injured players daily with our medical team. Hopefully, we will have the chance to go to Bodrum without any missing players.”
He explained that the three points obtained from the Antalyaspor match contributed positively to the team’s morale, stating, “After the break this week, the players are working more positively and enthusiastically in training. Although we have been training during that period, it was indeed a challenging time for both the players and us. Were we able to completely shake this off? No. As I said, we just took a breath.”
Palut noted that the players are more positive, saying, “They are more enthusiastic and eager. There are now some lighthearted jokes, and people can laugh. We are working in a more positive manner, but we are still far from where we want to be.”
