Roberto Mancini Departs as Saudi Arabia Head Coach After 14 Months

Roberto Mancini has stepped down as head coach of Saudi Arabia’s national football team just 14 months after his appointment. Despite signing a four-year deal in 2023, Mancini and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation have mutually agreed to part ways.

Saudi FA’s Official Statement

In an official statement, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation said:

“The Board of Directors of the Saudi Football Federation and the coach of the national team, Roberto Mancini, reached a joint agreement today, which includes the end of the contractual relationship.”

The federation is expected to announce a replacement for Mancini soon as they seek a fresh direction for the team’s development.
