Struggles in the Greece Defeat

Alexander-Arnold faced Keane’s harshest remarks after England’s shock 2-1 loss to Greece, where his defending was put under the microscope. While the right-back has shown immense attacking ability, Keane questioned his defensive reliability. Speaking about Alexander-Arnold’s role, Keane remarked:

“If you saw him the other night [against Greece] defending, it looked like he’d never played right-back before.”
