Ryan Reynolds & McElhenney’s Plans for 55,000-Seater Wrexham Stadium

Dean Saunders Weighs in on Wrexham’s Stadium Ambitions

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s plans to build a new 55,000-seater stadium for Wrexham have been hailed as “incredible” by former Wrexham manager Dean Saunders. The Hollywood owners’ ambitious vision for the club continues to gain attention as Wrexham’s popularity soars.

Saunders, who managed the club from 2008 to 2011, shared his thoughts on the idea of building a stadium with such a large capacity. Initially, Saunders had hoped to see Wrexham with 25,000 fans in the Championship, but he now believes the club could surpass that goal due to their growing global fanbase.

Saunders remarked on the club’s increasing support:

“They’re gaining fans from everywhere, and with Ryan and Rob involved, I wouldn’t put anything past them.”
