Scott McTominay’s Car Stolen While He Was Having Dinner
Still another Napoli Star Falls victim of crime
Matteo Politano, a Napoli teammate of Scott McTominay, allegedly had his car stolen while dining at a neighborhood Naples eatery. Il Messagero claims Politano returned from his lunch to discover his Smart car vanished, marking the third instance in recent weeks that a Napoli player had been singled out by crooks.
Some Napoli players feel dangerous in the city due of the recent spate of events. After his car window was damaged following a game against Parma, David Neres, who joined Napoli in August, was robbed at gunpoint earlier this month. Thieves grabbed an expensive watch valued more than €100,000.
In reaction to the crime, a nearby merchant sent Neres a replacement watch and a letter on city behalf apologizing.
