Semih Kılıcsoy returns to the starting 11 and wins a penalty

Besiktas’s young star Semih kılıcsoy hadn’t started in the first 11 since the 2nd-week match against Antalyaspor. After a 6-match absence from the starting lineup, Semih contributed to the score again by winning the penalty that Immobile converted. Semih has 2 assists in the Super Lig this season.

IMMOBILE STORM
This season, Cirro Immobile has been carrying Besiktas’s scoring load, celebrating goals in his last 4 Super Lig matches. Having failed to score in only 2 games and finding the net 8 times, averaging 1 goal per game, the Italian striker has increased his total goal tally to 12 in official matches. Immobile has 11 shots on target in the league, with 8 of them resulting in goals, converting 73% of his shots into goals.

4 OUT OF 4 AT HOME AFTER 21 YEARS
By defeating Konyaspor 2-0, Besiktas won all 4 of their home league matches this season, achieving 4 consecutive home wins for the first time in 21 years, a feat last accomplished in the 2003-04 season under Mircea Lucescu. Additionally, Giovanni van Bronckhorst became the first Besiktas coach to win his first 4 home league matches in his debut season, following John Benjamin Toshack (1997-98).
