The Senegal Football Federation has announced that Galatasaray’s Ismail Jakobs has rejoined the national team.
In a statement from the federation, it was noted that Galatasaray’s medical team had informed them on Friday and Saturday that the player could not join the national team due to an injury, supported by MRI scans. As a result, the player had been removed from the squad out of concern for his health.
REJOINED THE NATIONAL TEAM
The statement went on to emphasize that they had observed Jakobs playing the full 90 minutes in the Galatasaray-Alanya match. “In light of this, the Senegal Football Federation immediately requested the player’s return to the national team. Not involved in the situation, Jakobs left Istanbul and rejoined the national team on Monday (yesterday),” the statement concluded.
