TFF President Ibrahim Hacıosmanoglu: Should We Trust Foreigners Instead of Our Children?

TFF President Ibrahim Hacıosmanoglu provided a striking response to the question of foreign players. He stated, “We are the children of a nation that has ruled the world for 600 years. Are we now to trust our own children or should we trust foreigners?” Hacıosmanoğlu emphasized that they will implement innovations to increase the ball-in-play time and enhance the brand value of football.

During a visit to Samsunspor President Yuksel Yıldırım at the Nuri Asan Facilities, Hacıosmanoglu highlighted the importance of youth development, saying, “We believe that investing in football’s infrastructure and nurturing young talents is the way to escape Turkey’s status as a foreign players’ dumping ground. Therefore, I congratulate the president.”
