TFF National Teams Officer Ceyhun Kazancı Discusses Foreign Player Rule on NTV Spor

TFF National Teams Officer Ceyhun Kazancı made noteworthy remarks regarding the future of the foreign player rule in the Super League during an appearance on NTV Spor’s Gündem Spor programme.

Kazancı emphasized the need for stability in the foreign player rule, stating, “We don’t want a constantly changing rule. We want to study the details, analyze it from every angle, and make a decision that will be long-term. A rule that changes every year is challenging for our clubs.”

He further explained that while the number of foreign players in the squad remains unchanged at 14, the requirement for the number of Turkish footballers on the field has been adjusted. “This year, the decrease from 14 to 12 was maintained at 14 to avoid causing difficulties for some of our clubs and to prevent issues with justified termination,” Kazancı added.
