The transfer fee of the star that Manchester United and Arsenal want has been announced!

The transfer fee of Benjamin Sesko, who the Premier League giants want to transfer, has been announced.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Sesko was on the radar of several major teams in the summer before deciding to extend his contract with RB Leipzig until 2029. However, this move only delays Sesko’s inevitable transfer and he will once again be at the centre of transfer rumours at the end of the season.

Arsenal have been keenly interested in the 21-year-old but Mikel Arteta has decided to stick with his current attacking options. Manchester United are also said to be interested in Sesko, with Rasmus Hojlund yet to score enough goals to prove he can be a striker for the future.

DO YOU KNOW?

Both clubs will be competing to re-sign Sesko next summer and it has become clear how much the Slovenian could cost. According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Sesko has agreed a “gentleman’s agreement” rather than a release clause in his deal with RB Leipzig, suggesting they may be willing to move him if they receive an offer between €70-75m (£58-62m).

SportsWHAT’S NEXT FOR SESKO?

Sesko has scored seven goals in all competitions this season, but has only scored once in his last seven games. Now national duty awaits him, with Slovenia facing Norway and Austria in the Nations League next week. The youngster is hoping to feature in those competitions.
