Tim Weah on Enjoying Tough Training Sessions with Weston McKennie

Tim Weah has disclosed his preferred playing position and explained why he likes to be tough with his USMNT teammate Weston McKennie at Juventus training.

Weah has been reunited with McKennie, his international teammate, after joining Juventus from Lille in the summer of 2023. Over the previous 18 months, both athletes have gone through highs and lows, but they are still committed to helping one another succeed.

The Training Dynamic

Despite their camaraderie, Weah emphasized that there are no easy moments in training, even between fellow Americans. Speaking to Sky Sport Italia, Weah said:

“We are all working towards one goal, but I like to push and tackle him in training. It’s all love for my brother; I am just happy to share the field with him every day.”
