Tomislav Mijatovic: “Zeljko Obradovic is a Role Model for All of Us”

Anadolu Efes head coach Tomislav Mijatovic spoke about the legendary coach Zeljko Obradovic after his team’s 81-80 victory against Partizan in a preseason game.

In an interview with Meridian Sport, the Croatian coach praised Obradovic, saying: “The effort and investment Zeljko Obradovic has put into the Partizan team is truly remarkable. He is a role model for all of us. They have a very good and well-organized team, and Obradovic provides excellent leadership to these talented players. Honestly, when you face Partizan, you have to fight with 300% of your effort just to stay in the game.”

Mijatovic also discussed Anadolu Efes’ goals for the upcoming season, stating: “At Anadolu Efes, the goal is always to be at the top. I always tell this to my players and the staff at the club. Those who have worked at Efes for a long time know the club’s ambitions, desires, and standards. However, we also need to know that the road to victory requires taking it step by step. We believe in ourselves, and we place great importance on every training session and every game we play. Without this approach, we won’t be able to achieve success at the end of the season.”
