Fernando Alonso said he expects a tough weekend at the Singapore GP.
The two-time world champion stated that the characteristics of their car don’t suit the Singapore circuit.
Despite facing similar issues in Baku, Alonso mentioned that they were able to maximize the points there and aim to do the same in Singapore.
“Every lap you do in Singapore is risky. We had a busy Friday. We struggled a bit on this track due to the characteristics of our car.”
“We thought the same in Baku, but we still managed to maximize the points there, so we’ll see what we can do tomorrow. Our car doesn’t have many strong points, and Singapore requires a few things like traction, which we lack.”
“It will be tough, but I hope it’s possible to score points.”
