Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has expressed concern over the condition of his star player, Jude Bellingham.
What Happened?
The English star has been dealing with a recurring shoulder injury since playing for his country in the Euro 2024 qualifiers. There were recommendations for Bellingham to undergo surgery after dislocating his shoulder in a match against Rayo Vallecano in October. Despite this, he has played through the pain for much of the 2023-24 season.
Nearly 12 months have passed, and the issue continues to cause problems for Bellingham. Ancelotti recently revealed that while the 21-year-old no longer plays with any supportive gear, he was seen holding his shoulder again after being subbed off against Espanyol, saying, “He experienced it again.”

According to Marca, Bellingham has been advised to rest. However, having recently been sidelined for a month due to a foot injury, the midfielder is reportedly reluctant to take time off. The Three Lions star is said to be unwilling to sit on the sidelines as he works to regain his form and fitness.

Bellingham could be rotated for Tuesday’s La Liga match against Alaves, which might give him a chance to rest. However, he is expected to return to the starting XI for the Madrid derby against Atletico at the Metropolitano on Sunday.
