Ange Postecoglou Defends ‘Second Year Success’ Claim After Tottenham’s Loss to Arsenal

‘You Going to Keep Asking Me?’ – Irritated Tottenham Boss Ange Postecoglou Sticks to ‘Always Win Things in Second Year’ Claim After Disappointing Derby Loss to Arsenal

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou displayed his frustration after his team’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the North London Derby. Following the disappointing result, Postecoglou snapped at a reporter who questioned if he still believed Spurs could challenge for trophies this season.

The former Celtic boss, who had previously stated that he “always” wins silverware in his second year with a team, chastised the journalist for repeating the same question. “You going to keep asking me?” Postecoglou responded irritably during the post-match press conference.

Spurs, struggling with their finishing during the derby, will be hoping for a morale-boosting win when they host Brentford next weekend. However, before that, they travel to Coventry City for their third-round Carabao Cup clash on Wednesday night.
