Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard Doubtful for North London Derby After Ankle Injury

Bad News for Arsenal: Martin Odegaard Doubtful for North London Derby

Arsenal may be without their captain and star player, Martin Odegaard, for the upcoming North London derby against Tottenham in the Premier League. The midfielder is dealing with an ankle injury sustained during Norway’s UEFA Nations B League match against Austria, forcing him to leave the pitch in the second half.

Norway’s national team doctor, Ole Sand, spoke to Norwegian press VG, revealing that Odegaard’s injury could keep him sidelined for an extended period. “This type of ankle injury typically lasts at least three weeks. Anything sooner would be a bonus, but it could take even longer,” said Sand.

This injury comes as a blow for Arsenal, who will be hoping their captain recovers in time for this critical fixture.
