Our representative Bahcesehir Koleji lost 66-63 to Spain’s Dreamland Gran Canaria in the third week of Group A of the BKT European Cup (Eurocup). The match was broadcast live on TRT SPOR.
Bahcesehir Koleji started the Eurocup with two wins but faced Dreamland Gran Canaria in their third test. The match featured two undefeated teams, and our representative started well. However, the opponent took control as the game progressed, ending the first quarter with a 16-10 lead.
Bahcesehir managed to tie the score after holding Gran Canaria scoreless for nearly six minutes. However, the Spanish team finished the first half leading 32-27.
After the halftime break, our representative re-entered the game and entered the final quarter with a one-point advantage.
The last quarter was thrilling. Our team extended their lead to 7 points with 5 minutes remaining. However, Gran Canaria utilized their home court advantage to come back and won the match 66-63. With this result, Bahcesehir Koleji suffered their first defeat in the competition.
