Ben Davies ‘Exciting Times’ Ahead for Wales
Experienced defender Ben Davies made some statements. He said he thinks things will change under new Wales head coach Craig Bellamy. The 31-year-old captained Wales to a 2-1 Nations League win over Montenegro on Monday, giving Bellamy four points from his first two games in charge.
After a goalless draw with Turkey in Cardiff, Wales took the lead with two goals in three minutes in rain-soaked conditions through Niksic. Despite what Bellamy described as ‘the most difficult’ weather conditions, the Welsh team stood firm and showed resilience as well as attacking flair.
Davies, a key member of the squad that reached the semi-finals at Euro 2016, is optimistic about the team’s future. ‘It’s a great start and I think we can really progress as a team,’ said the Spurs defender. ‘After just one week of working together, we’ve already seen the results in our performances. It’s very exciting times.’
A quality news page. In the name of football, the news is quite enough. I finally found the news site I was looking for, thank you.
