Beşiktaş has reportedly made a conditional offer to Chelsea for the transfer of 19-year-old winger Angelo. It is claimed that Brad Friedel, Beşiktaş’s Board Advisor, is in ongoing talks with the English club regarding the transfer.
The Turkish side is keen on a loan deal with a purchase option but opposes any clause that would make the purchase mandatory.
According to Sabah Gazetesi, Friedel has been in contact with Carlo Cudicini, Chelsea’s Loan Player Technical Coach, to discuss the Brazilian’s future. Chelsea is open to both selling and loaning the player, allowing Beşiktaş to negotiate at its own pace.
Beşiktaş prefers a loan deal with a purchase option, without any compulsory buy clause. Talks are ongoing, and the Turkish club is expected to finalize the winger transfer next week.
