Beşiktaş’s new left wing is also coming from Benfica!

According to the Portuguese press, Beşiktaş is interested in Joao Mario. Record newspaper reported that the transfer of Rafa Silva’s former teammate could be completed for a transfer fee between 3 and 5 million euros.

Beşiktaş, having signed Ciro Immobile as a forward, Rafa Silva for the number 10 position, Can Keleş for the right wing, Cher Ndour for midfield, and Gabriel Paulista, Emirhan Topçu, and Felix Uduokhai for defense, is now focusing on strengthening the left side. While the process for Chelsea’s Angelo Gabriel, whom Beşiktaş is interested in, has been prolonged, the Portuguese newspaper Record reported that the Black and Whites are targeting Benfica’s Joao Mario. The newspaper claimed that a fee between 3 and 5 million euros is being requested for the 31-year-old player, and Benfica’s head coach Roger Schmidt has given the green light to this transfer by stating, “There is a possibility of Mario leaving.”

Meanwhile, Ante Rebic, who left Beşiktaş, has transferred to the Italian club Lecce. The Greek press also claimed that Colley has reached an agreement with PAOK.
