Cedi Osman’s First Statement After The Deal

Cedi Osman, who recently left the San Antonio Spurs, signed a one-year contract with Panathinaikos. The 29-year-old star basketball player expressed his excitement to join the Greek team in his first statement after the signing.

“Panathinaikos was an easy choice for me. I have known Panathinaikos and Ergin Ataman, who was my coach even when I was very young, for many years. I am happy to be a part of Panathinaikos. We have not yet discussed my specific role with Coach Ataman, but we will have time to talk about it.”

‘The goal is the championship’

“I want to win back-to-back titles with Panathinaikos, we have a great team. EuroLeague is tough but we are the best team. Of course we have our eyes on the cup and we will play for the championship. I’ve always followed EuroLeague and I miss it, I can’t wait to get back on the court.”

Cedi Osman was in the news after parting ways with the San Antonio Spurs. There were rumours that he would come to Turkey. The player chose Panathinaikos.

The excitement of the Greek fans is already high! In the coming days Cedi will wear Panathinaikos jersey for the first time.
