Champions League Group Stage Draw Completed

The draw for the 2024-2025 season of the UEFA Champions League, which has adopted a new format, took place today.

The group stage draw for the 2024-2025 UEFA Champions League was conducted at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo.

In this newly formatted competition, 36 teams will compete this season in a league-style tournament.

Here are the groups and the teams that will face off in the upcoming season:

How will the new format work? The top 8 teams in the league stage will advance directly to the Round of 16. Teams finishing 9th to 24th will enter the play-offs. The play-off winners will join the top 8 in the Round of 16. Teams outside the top 24 will be eliminated from European competition.

The group stage will begin on September 17-19, 2024, and conclude on January 29, 2025.

The final will be held at Allianz Arena in Munich.
