Chelsea in Talks for £500m Stadium, Considering Move from Stamford Bridge

Chelsea Could Build a New £500 Million Stadium

Chelsea could build a new stadium in west London. The club could leave the historic Stamford Bridge if negotiations end positively. According toThe Guardian, the club has raised the issue of a possible move to Earl’s Court.

The club wants to increase the stadium capacity from the current 42,000 seats. However, efforts to expand Stamford Bridge have stalled. And the search for a new venue has begun. The proposed Earl’s Court project is approximately £500 million.

Although Chelsea does not rule out the possibility of staying at Stamford Bridge, the club is exploring alternative options to accommodate more fans at home matches. The Blues will travel to face Bournemouth and West Ham in their next Premier League matches before returning to Stamford Bridge for their EFL Cup third round tie against Barrow.
