Eduardo Camavinga, a midfielder for Real Madrid, expressed his annoyance with “football politics” following Vinicius Jr.’s loss to Rodri of Manchester City for the Ballon d’Or. Rodri became the first Premier League player to win the award since Cristiano Ronaldo in 2008, and Vinicius finished second despite being a strong contender after his stellar season with Real Madrid.
