In the third week of the Trendyol Süper Lig, Fenerbahçe claimed an impressive 5-0 victory against Çaykur Rizespor in an away match. The Yellow Canaries dominated the game, with Fred, who recently returned from injury, delivering a stellar performance by scoring a hat-trick. The match began with Fred finding the net in the 15th minute with a powerful shot from the right side, giving Fenerbahçe an early lead, which they maintained until halftime.
In the second half, Fenerbahçe intensified their pressure, and Edin Dzeko doubled the lead in the 53rd minute with a well-placed shot from a tight angle. Fred continued his brilliant form, scoring again in the 60th minute from the left flank to make it 3-0. Just four minutes later, he completed his hat-trick, bringing the score to 4-0.
The final goal came in the 66th minute when Rizespor’s Alikulov inadvertently scored an own goal, pushing Fenerbahçe’s lead to 5-0. With no further goals, Fenerbahçe secured a dominant victory, bringing their total points to 7 in the league standings. Çaykur Rizespor remains at 4 points.
Fenerbahçe will face Alanyaspor at home in their next match, while Çaykur Rizespor will go up against Kasımpaşa.
