Fenerbahçe’s Mert Hakan Yandaş, known for his aggressive behavior during the Galatasaray derby, received a warning from the club’s management.
Starting the derby on the bench, Mert Hakan Yandaş received a yellow card in the first half for protesting the referee. After the match, tensions flared between him and Galatasaray players as he attempted to enter the tunnel alongside the opposing team, which his teammates prevented.
Fenerbahçe’s management has reportedly advised the experienced midfielder to remain calm in future matches. Additionally, head coach Jose Mourinho is expected to start Mert Hakan Yandaş in the upcoming UEFA Europa League match against Union Saint-Gilloise.
