Flash claim from Italy for Vincenzo Montella: “The special clause in his contract can be used”
A flash claim was made by the Italian press regarding National Team Coach Vincenzo Montella.
Despite the change of coach in Roma, one of the Italian Serie A teams, the bad course continues.
Ivan Juric, who was appointed as the replacement for club legend Daniele de Rossi, could not put a stop to the bad trend either.
After parting ways with Juric, Roma began their search for a coach.
According to the news in the Italian press La Gazzetta Dello Sport; National Team Coach Vincenzo Montella is also among Roma’s technical director candidates.
SPECIAL ARTICLE INCLUDED IN THE CONTRACT
The report stated that Montella’s annual salary is 2.2 million euros and that the Italian coach’s contract includes a clause stating that ‘he will be released if compensation equal to 6 months’ salary is paid’.
It has been commented that Vincenzo Montella could pay 6 months’ salary, approximately 1 million euros, from his own pocket if an official offer comes to him from Roma.
It was stated that Roberto Mancini, Erik Ten Hag, Graham Potter, Frank Lampard and Edin Terzic are among Roma’s technical director candidates.
FAVORITE NAME FOR THE SOFA: ROBERTO MANCINI
It has been suggested that De Rossi, who was previously dismissed, could return to the club.
It has been suggested that Mancini, who most recently coached the Saudi Arabian national team, is the favourite to take over as head coach at Roma.
Vincenzo Montella previously served as head coach at Roma in 2011.
