Galatasaray announced that Ismail Jakobs, who was substituted due to injury during the match against Antalyaspor, has been diagnosed with a second-degree strain and bleeding in his right upper hamstring group.
In the 9th week of the Super Lig, Galatasaray defeated Antalyaspor 3-0, but left-back Ismail Jakobs had to leave the game due to injury. The club’s statement regarding Jakobs read: “During the Trendyol Super Lig’s ninth week match against Onvo Antalyaspor, our player Ismail Jakobs felt pain in his right upper hamstring. After examinations at our sponsor hospital, Medicana, a second-degree strain (stretching and bleeding) in the right upper hamstring group was detected. His treatment has begun.”
According to TRT Spor’s report, the return of the Senegalese player to the pitch may take up to a month.
