Football pundit Tumer Metin analyzed the derby where Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahce 3-1 away. Tumer Metin made an interesting comparison regarding Galatasaray’s 3rd goal, scored by Gabriel Sara.
Former footballer and commentator Tumer Metin evaluated the derby in which Fenerbahce lost 3-1 to Galatasaray at home.
Speaking on TV100, Tumer Metin said that Fenerbahce was worse than he expected and added, “When Torreira’s shot went into the net off Livakovic’s back, the course of the match shifted in Galatasaray’s favor. You might have conceded a goal from a throw-in, but in the following phase, Mourinho failed in what he did.”
Tumer Metin stated that he has not seen Jose Mourinho’s touch on the team in the first 6 weeks of the Super Lig, saying, “A name doesn’t win, a name wins but only if it puts itself out there. I can discuss the quality of our league, but I won’t discuss Jose Mourinho’s career. I can even debate the difficulty level of our league, even with Mourinho. Football is played differently in our league. I don’t think Mourinho has put his name out there yet.”
Tumer Metin also touched on Galatasaray’s 3rd goal scored by Gabriel Sara.
Pointing out that Galatasaray dominated midfield against Fenerbahce, Metin said, “For the 3rd goal, I couldn’t walk there so comfortably from the studio, even to the old Ali Sami Yen.”
