Is ABA League near its end? Inside the battle for a Serbian basketball revolution

For years, the Serbian teams have carried the ABA League, both on and off the court. Moreover, the league is mainly financed by Serbia.

Some powerful names, including Svetislav Pesic and the Serbian Basketball Federation itself, led by Nebojsa Covic, claim the ABA League no longer makes sense, at least not for Serbian teams.

But as in other matters, Serbia is usually divided. In the last couple of days, there have been many debates regarding this decision and the future of Serbian basketball.

These debates were not so much from the fans as from people well-known in basketball circles and beyond.
