Former Real Madrid star James Rodriguez is heading back to the Spanish capital.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the 33-year-old attacking midfielder has verbally agreed to a one-year contract with Rayo Vallecano, including a 12-month extension option. Rodriguez is expected to undergo a medical next week before signing the deal.
