The 17-year-old Barcelona emerging sensation Lamine Yamal has explained why he was clearly upset after being replaced in the team’s 3-0 victory over Alaves on Sunday. Even though his team was comfortably ahead, Yamal looked upset when he was substituted in the 67th minute. This response was identical to his outburst following his substitution in the Champions League match against Young Boys.
Yamal has clarified that his ire was focused on his own performance rather than the choice to replace him. The Spain international expressed disappointment at not making a bigger contribution to the team and acknowledged that he holds himself to a high level.
Yamal’s Comments on the Situation
In an interview with RNE, Yamal said:
“More than angry, I was not happy with my game. I thought I could play better, deep down I thought I could have played a better game. I demand a lot from myself. I think that’s the line I have to follow to be able to play every game at 100 per cent. It was with myself.”
Biraz hırslı bir oyuncu diye düşünüyorum . Böyle de devam kral !
